Satsang

Satsang is an auspicious event that marks the beginning of wedding. In Satsang , family and relatives joins in for a common gathering to celebrate the new beginning of wedding by praying to God.
SHAGUN
19th of May 2022 : 11 AM
Shagun is a word derived from Sanskrit, which means auspicious, good omen, or blessing. It is an unofficial announcement to the wedding where in bride and groom families exchange gifts. The brother of the bride applies Tilak or Vermilion on the groom's forehead.
Saant (HALDI)
19th of May 2022 : 3 PM
Saant ceremony is organised for the boy & the girl at their respective homes amidst recitation of Vedic Mantras. During Saant, Butna, a combination of turmeric and other things,is applied to groom by their parents and close relatives, while the women sing traditional songs.
Mehandi
19th of May 2022 : 8 PM
In the Hindu tradition, mehndi is part of the Solah Shringar, or sixteen bridal adornments, which is a ritual for the beautification of the bride from head to toe at the time of their wedding. The groom's family and close relatives visit bride's home with mehandi which is then applied to the bride.
Baraat
20th of May 2022 : 8 PM
The Big Day. A baraat is a celebratory wedding procession for the groom involving live music and dancing. The groom, decked in traditional Indian finery, is usually seated on a ceremonial horse (or an elephant, chariot, or vintage car) as his guests lead the way, dancing. An auspicious time is pre-determined to begin the wedding rituals preceding the baraat. The bride's family organizes a feast for all the guests.
Reception
22nd of May 2022 : 8 PM
A Dinner reception is organized by the groom's family to celebrate the welcome of the bride. All relatives and friends are invited to join in the celebration.
Shiv-Parvati Vivaah Paath
23rd of May 2022 : 8 PM Onwards
We will celebrate the beginning of our new life by organizing Shiv - Parvati vivaah. Hindus idolize the eternal love of Maa Gauri and Shiv Shankar and we will be praying to them to seek their blessings for our new beginnings.
